We are totally in love with this collection!
Floral print has always been one of my favorites, especially those of roses or peonies. They give off certain romantic and vintage vibes which I really, really like. Usually we think of floral as something of Spring/Summer trends, but when you have them in more saturated colours instead in of pastels, we will have them fit right into Autumn or even Winter looks. They can even bring add the vibrant touches to the usual black and greys!

Fuss free is all about easy-to-wear clothes. At Polka Dot and Roses, we call it “Lup (it on) and Go”. Different styles for different occasions.

Since we are already in the 3rd week since the opening of this online shop, we guess it’s about time to share a bit more about ourselves. ‘We’ consist of 2 sisters: Shuyin and Binn. Shuyin, which is me, the elder and crazier one about fashion, while Binn is the cute little sis whom well, try to keep me from buying the whole shop down.
Since I’m the older one, I shall go first. Binn is scheduled for the next collection (which I haven’t told her yet). Haha.

The greatest joy of Polka Dot and Rosese, apart from being able to shop legitimately, is to have a platform for me to share (hao lian) what I know about fashion with you guys. I’ll try my best to gather the most up-to-date information as well as my personal interpretations and post them here. I think the best way to learn and improve, for me that is, is by this exchange of opinions and knowledge. So, even if you are not buying, leave a comment too!

Chanel, Prada, Christian Dior and the likes have just shown their 2010 Cruise Collections. They are originally produced for the wealthy vacationers who travel to the tropic resorts to get away from the cold. Influenced by the fun, fresh looks on the runway, we came out with our very own cruise-inspired looks.
